Interdisziplinäres Forschungszentrum der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster

Die inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte am CIW sind vielschichtig: Das Institut für Ökonomische Bildung (IÖB) ist für die Lehramtsausbildung im allgemeinbildenden Schulsystem zuständig. Neben der Forschung in den Bereichen ökonomischer Bildung und Bildungökonomik stehen v.a. Fragen der normativen Ökonomik und der ökonomischen Methodenlehre im Fokus. Das Institut für Organisationsökonomik (IO) befasst sich in Forschung und Lehre sowohl theoretisch als auch empirisch mit Organisationen in ihren vielfältigen Formen aus ökonomischer Perspektive. Der Lehrstuhl für Ökonomische Politikanalyse (LÖP) wendet das Instrumentarium der Volkswirtschaftslehre auf allgemeine Fragestellungen der Politik an und strebt nach einer Erklärung und Analyse politischer und wirtschaftspolitischer Entscheidungsprozesse und ihrer Ergebnisse.
