An-Institut der Universität Paderborn

Als interdisziplinäres Forschungsinstitut bündelt das Heinz Nixdorf Institut die Kompetenzen der Fachgruppen im Hinblick auf die gemeinsam erarbeitete Zielsetzung des Entwurfs intelligenter technischer Systeme. Der Fokus des interdisziplinären Forschungszentrums liegt auf fünf Bereichen. Diese umfassen “Selbstoptimierung, Lernen und Rekonfiguration”, “Mechatronik, Sensorik und Kommunikation in verteilten Systemen”, “Safety und Security”, “Entwurfsmethodik” und “Strategische Planung und Wissensorganisation”.
